Spring Season Hours are:

 10:30 a.m.  Weekdays       9:00 a.m. Weekends

 our gates close at 6:30 p.m.  Last boats are launched 75 min. prior to closing.

By the Hour:  single kayak $10   and  2-person kayak  $15    Half-day kayak $25 (4 hours) rental before Noon.

 Standup Paddleboard $20 

Minimum age:  no minimum for kayaks, SUP guests min. age is 16 if alone and 13 yrs min. if accompanied by parent.  One guest per board.

 Here is our Pet policy: Dogs are welcomed in our kayaks but not on our boards.

A renter's valid drivers license is required for each kayak or SUP rental.

Plenty of boats, so no need for a reservation - come on down!

Indoor restroom facilities are available in the Boathouse.

Guided Tours of Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake.  Discover an Austin that few people get to see - from the lake!  Friday and Saturday morning tour times are 9:30 a.m. and are available to you in advance by writing "info@congresskayaks.com". 

Bat Tours are Back - Starting May 15.  Our popular Guided Bat Tours can be reserved, for Friday and Saturdays at 7 p.m.  Visit our home page top link to reserve a seat.

Advance Large Group Reservations - Let us help you plan a group event of 12 or more.  Simply write us at "info@congresskayaks.com" at least 10 days ahead of your date.

Summer Mini-Camps are coming!  June 15-16, June 22-23 Monday and Tuesday mornings, and July 13-14, 20-21.  Registration is open - find our form on the home page.

Parking:    Downtown parking is available on-street, with Sunday parking meters free. More spacious metered public parking is 1 block east at 600 River Street,  at the Mexican American Cultural Center.  MACC Directions:  on Cesar Chavez/1st St. stay southbound on I-35 access road, pass the IHOP, bear right to River Street stop sign, turn right onto River Street and head into the MACC directly ahead, aim right to park.  At the far end, walk past the black gate to the trail across Waller Creek, through the plywood construction tunnel of the Waller Creek Tunnel project.  Got all of that?  We will be ecstatic when construction is completed soon.

Kayak Card = $85 for eleven one-hour kayak outings          SUP Card = $125 for eleven one-hour SUP outings

Rentals include a life vest and paddle and boats are equipped with seatbacks for your comfort.  A renter's valid drivers license is required for rental.  Cash and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) happily accepted.
